History
Corazzi Fibre was set up in Cremona in 1951 by Paolo Corazzi. He was a forward-thinking man, rich of ideas and initiatives, whose personality was never restricted within the borders of entrepreneurship. He was always committed to both social and cultural environment, giving his own contribution to many initiatives.
He was a proponent of innovation in the production field, always ahed of times as entrepreneur. In the ’70s, in order to follow the most modern consumption trends, he converts the initial core activity of steel wool production to that one of abrasive fibers, starting in this way the new technological process in his own plant.
Already in the first half of the ’60s Paolo Corazzi pursues foreign trade, at first expanding to neighbouring countries and then to those further away, going personally to find out new markets. The care devoted to the customer is a keystone on which the whole firm is based. “The customer is the most important person in this firm” so wrote him in a popular price list in 1956. The outcomes of this cutting-edge entrepreneurship were not long in coming. In the ’80s already half of the production is being exported.
In 1996 the building of the new production plant is over, located in Cremona as usual, it covers a wide area of 35,000 square meters. The layout of the new factory allows new investments in equipment and production plants, enabling the entry to new market segments related to professional cleaning and industrial uses. The ongoing improvements of the production facilities enabled the firm to positively meet the most diversified market demands.
Since 1997 Corazzi Fibre is present in Guadalajara, Mexico with a manufacturing plant. This goal enabled the firm to reach the central-north American market acquiring competitive and logistics advantages. The new headquarter built in 2004, and subsequently enlarged in 2015, is equipped with large production slots, thus meeting the growing market demands.
Economic development and ethical aspect are two sides of a combination that should never be considered individually. Therefore, especially in the recent years, the firm was mostly committed to the implementation of innovative fibers distinguished by their eco-compatibility. Through targeted research and development activities, Corazzi Fibre was able to grow following the market trends simultaneously answering one problem that mostly concern the contemporary world: the environmental protection.
We achieved the result to create a technological development in close harmony with the environmental protection.
